Become a member of the Campbell River Genealogy Society

The benefits of membership in CRGS include:

• our quarterly newsletter, the Treehouse. 
• monthly Zoom meetings that focus on education
• free workshops on various topics such as DNA, Ancestry and Family Tree Maker
• an annual fall seminar that’s either free or at a reduced rate for members
• the opportunity to receive the journals and newsletters of other Societies that we exchange with
• affiliation with the BC Genealogical Society that provides access to their seminars and other events at their members’ rate which is often free
• free access at home to CRGS’s subscriptions to Findmypast and Legacy Family Tree Webinars

Annual Membership runs from January-December.

Annual Fees:

Please don’t pay your renewal fees until January 1st of the year they are in effect.
  • Single $40
  • Dual* $60
  • New Member Between Sept 1 and Dec 31 Single $15
  • New Member Between Sept 1 and Dec 31 Dual* $20

*second member must be living at the same address

We have 2 options for joining/renewing and submitting dues:

1) Download the membership form and either

  • mail your completed membership form and a cheque to CRGS, PO Box 884, Campbell River, BC V9W 6Y4.
  • bring your completed membership form to the CRGS Library at the MARITIME HERITAGE CENTRE 621 Island Highway, Campbell River (check main page for hours)

2) Complete online membership form and submit dues by e-transfer to

crgstreasurer@gmail.com

Our treasurer asks you to please include the following information in the message box:

    • your name and email address
    • that the payment is for membership
    • in the case of a dual membership, the name and email address of the additional member

For e-transfers, a password is not required.

Renewing members please submit a membership form to ensure that your contact information is up to date.
