Mission

Through the sharing of knowledge and expertise, we are committed to providing an atmosphere of acceptance in promoting participation and ongoing genealogical research.

Purpose

To promote the study of genealogy and genealogical research.

To maintain a library for the collection and preservation of genealogical, historical, and biographical matter related to local, national and international family history interests.

Vision

To promote and maintain an active membership.

To maintain a library and educational programs for the purpose of family history research.

Goals

To increase the number of members in the society.

To welcome new members and support the membership at large.

To promote and maintain communication between the members of the board, board members, and committees, and the board and the membership.

To develop a fundraising plan that will minimize the financial impact on the members.

To maintain the society's library resources and educational programs.

To establish and maintain friendly relationships with other genealogical and related organizations for the exchange of ideas and information, and for the promotion of common interests.
